AI for Autism · Humanitarian research initiative
Status: ExploratoryAutism isn't a problem to fix. It's a language to understand.
CyberFoxX is exploring whether locally hosted, personalised AI companions could help neurodivergent people and their families communicate, learn, navigate challenges and better understand their environments.
Technology that adapts to people.
Too much technology forces people to adapt to rigid systems. Our ambition is helpful, affordable, privacy-conscious assistive technology that adapts to individuals instead.
This initiative grew from personal experience. Our founder's experiences as a parent helped shape it, and the belief that technology should adapt to human differences.
“Technology should learn to understand the individual, not demand that the individual change to accommodate the technology.”

Our commitments
Hopeful and human. Never exploitative.
Individuals, not stereotypes
No two autistic people share the same preferences or support needs. Technology must be configurable by and for the individual.
Agency and dignity
We prioritise the autonomy and individuality of neurodivergent people in every design decision.
Consent and safeguarding first
Child safety, guardian authorisation, age-appropriate controls, safeguarding and data protection must be resolved before any broader use.
Private by design
Sensitive information should stay local, under the family's control, and never be sent automatically to external AI services.
What this initiative is not
- An approved medical device
- A clinical treatment or therapy
- A diagnostic system
- A proven health intervention
- A replacement for clinicians, therapists or educators
- Able to reliably read emotions from camera data
If you need support or a diagnosis, please speak to a qualified healthcare professional.
Research collaboration inquiry
Help shape this work responsibly.
We welcome conversations with autistic and neurodivergent people, families, advocates, clinicians, educators and researchers. Please don't send medical details or information that identifies a child.
