Accessibility statement

Accessibility matters to us, especially given our AI for Autism work. We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we've done

  • Semantic HTML, a logical heading structure and a skip link to the main content.
  • Full keyboard support, including the interactive explorers (use Tab, then the arrow keys to move between layers).
  • Visible focus indicators and colour contrast that meets AA ratios.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and diagrams, with decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
  • Animation that respects your device's reduced-motion setting: animated backgrounds become still images.
  • Accessible form labels, instructions and error messages, with an error summary.
  • Layouts that work from small phones to large screens and with text zoomed to 200%.

Known limitations

This is a new website. It has been tested with automated checks and keyboard navigation, but not yet with a full independent audit or a wide range of assistive technologies. We plan to do this before launch.
